We are dedicated to the sustainable harvesting of Australia’s hardwood resources. Our belief is that old-growth and rainforest timber should be preserved for future generations. To support this, we focus on sourcing only sustainable regrowth or plantation-grown timber. We advocate for establishing high-value local plantations on suitable farmland while carefully managing our regrowth forests.
Our goal is to create a circular economy in the way we grow, produce, and distribute timber products. We are investing in innovative techniques to minimize waste, reduce our carbon footprint, and protect forest biodiversity, while still delivering the sustainable timber products we know and love.

Native Hardwood Plantations
Our vision is to become totally self sufficient by managing our own durable, native plantations. In 2004 we established a 30 year plan to plant up to 2000 hectares of Silvertop Ash, Yellow Stringybark, Southern Mahogany, Spotted Gum, Red Ironbark and Coastal Greybox plantations for future generations. To date we have planted over1 million trees.
Radial Sawing was specifically designed to maximise the recovery of sawn timber from smaller logs. As such, Radial Sawing has a range of both environmentaland technical benefits. Where conventional sawing methods require large diameter logs Radial Sawing technology helps make native hardwood plantations logs more viable by maximising the yield of high value timber products from smaller logs.
An LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) mill is a manufacturing facility dedicated to producing Radial Timber products using the LVL process. In an LVL plant, thin wood veneers are arranged in a parallel alignment, bonded together with adhesives, and compressed under heat and pressure to form strong and versatile timber products. This gives us the opportunity to use our low value, thinned plantation logs to create high value products.
Our new innovative Bioenergy plant will harness the power of pyrolysis, a thermochemical process, to convert wood biomass into valuable biochar, bio-oils, heat and energy. By utilizing radial timber waste as its primary feedstock, the plant will not only generate sustainable energy products but also demonstrate a commitment to environmental stewardship and circular economy principles. With a focus on efficiency and eco-friendliness, Radial Timbers aims to pioneer a new frontier in the timber industry, fostering both economic growth and environmental sustainability.
Radial Firewood effectively transforms waste and thinnings from our plantation estate into high-quality sustainable firewood. We utilize materials that aren’t suitable for LVL or saw logs due to size or quality, ensuring minimal waste through our milling process. This wood is then chopped, split, dried, and packaged for distribution across Victoria via our partner,
